The Bitterroot Physicians Clinic was designed with the patient and medical provider in mind, featuring a larger and more patient-centered facility. It opened its doors on August 23, 2013 with ten medical providers, a team of nurses, registration clerks and support staff ready to deliver quality care. The patient experience has been enhanced with a total of twenty exam rooms, three nursing stations, seven physician offices, and Coumadin clinic and lab within the clinic. The medical providers are accepting new patients and the clinic is open for appointments Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. For payment of services rendered, most insurance plans are accepted including Medicare and Medicaid, and for private pay patients we are happy to accept Master Card, Visa, American Express and Discover, as well as personal checks and cash.

Walker J. Ashcraft, MD is board certified with the American Academy of Family Physicians. He attended the University of Utah, College of Medicine. His internship was completed at Holy Cross Hospital and his residency at General Surgery, Latter Day Saints Hospital which are both located in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has served on the Medical Staff at Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital since 1975.
Mandi Tine Griffin, MD joined the Bitterroot Physicians Clinic staff in July 2010. Griffin comes to the Bitterroot Valley from Greeley, Colorado. Before pursuing her medical degree, Dr. Griffin worked as an registered nurse in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Wilderness Medical Society.
Eugenie T. Haight, MD, MPH joined the Bitterroot Physicians Clinic staff in June 2015. Dr. Haight is certified by the Diplomat American Board of Internal Medicine, attended the University of California Berkley and completed her residency at the University of California San Francisco, Fresno-San Joaquin Valley Medical Education Program. She has been practicing internal medicine for over 28 years in metropolitan and rural areas, and has grown to love small town medicine.
Allen W. Jones, Jr., MD is board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine. He attended Medical School at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and his residency was completed at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences, in Jackson, Tennessee. He has been practicing family medicine for 24 years in a small town in Georgia, providing care to families of multiple generations.
Jennifer Krueger, PA-C earned her Bachelors of Science and Physician Assistant Certification at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and then went on to earn her MBA in Healthcare Administration at the University of Colorado. She is certified with the National Commission on Certifications of Physician Assistants. She is currently practicing family medicine at the Bitterroot Physicians Clinic and Convenient Care, as well as practicing sleep medicine at Marcus Daly Sleep Center.
John P. Moreland, MD is board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine. He attended medical school at Washington University, his internship was completed at Barnes Hospital, and his residency at the University of Washington which were all located in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Moreland has been with Dr. Ashcraft since 1975.
Susan Reynolds, FNP-C has been a nurse practitioner for over 10 years and a registered nurse for more than 25. Her professional philosophy is caring for the whole person. Susan believes in being a patient advocate, assisting patients in understanding their care plan options and encouraging patient participation with the hopes of achieving the best health outcomes. She provides personalized care to all ages.
Robert Smith, MD is board certified with the American Association of Family Physicians. He attended medical school at the University of California in Los Angeles and his internship was completed at Community Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. The beauty of the Bitterroot Valley drew Dr. Smith and his wife to the area from Indiana. His medical philosophy is to listen to his patients, be compassionate and concerned. He cares for patients of all ages from infancy to the elderly.
Anne Weinberger, ANP completed her Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee. She is certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She provides personalized care to adults and the elderly.
