Quality Customer Service. What comes to mind when you see these three words? I’ll bet you have service expectations when you go into a restaurant, hardware, clothing or other types of stores. How about when going to the doctor or being in the hospital?

The mission of Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital is to be excellent in providing quality, accessible, personalized healthcare. What does this mean to you, the patient? I strongly believe that you want the best healthcare available and you want to be treated with dignity and respect.

Many years ago the Board of Directors of MDMH focused most of their efforts on the financial success of the hospital. The present eleven member Board of Directors has significantly broadened the focus of interest and decision making. We are working with the medical staff and administration in purchasing the best and most up to date equipment. We recently approved a significant three year investment in training all employees in the concept of quality healthcare. We know we have excellent employees, but we also know that we can always improve on what we do. Our employees are solidly supportive of the new training and are anxious to get started. We are also investing in the future physical structure of the Hospital and there will be a series of public meetings in the near future to “roll out” the plans for your review.

What I am trying to say with all of this information is that your Board of Directors is totally committed to Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital being YOUR CHOICE for innovative, high quality, affordable healthcare. If we don’t meet your expectations for healthcare then we want to hear about it. When you leave the Hospital or one of our clinics we want you to be so satisfied that you will recommend us to everyone you know. If you don’t have that feeling then we are not performing at our best.
