Rehab Department Head -
JOB SUMMARY: Manages all activities at Marcus Daly Rehabilitation Services. Responsible for the direct supervision of physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and support staff members. Provides patient treatment as necessary Works collaboratively with senior management and all departments to ensure that outstanding care is provided to the customers of MDMH. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission and Vision of Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Standards of Performance — Attitude, Communication, Ownership, Professionalism, Recognition, Safety, Service, and Teamwork. This job description excludes the numerous minor functions of the position that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. EMPLOYEES SUPERVISED: Speech Language Pathologists, Physical/Occupational Therapists, PTA’s and COTA’s, clinical assistants, rehabilitation technicians, students, pre-professional volunteers and hospital volunteers.
