Including DHF in your estate planning

Planned Giving is a way to make a thoughtful charitable gift through estate planning. A planned gift considers you and your loved ones’ needs while supporting a cause or charity that is personally meaningful to you. A planned gift can create potential savings on capital gains taxes or estate taxes, lessening the financial burden on your family or loved ones. Creating a detailed will is critical. Bequests, annuities and remainder trusts are other options to consider for planned giving. Before making a final decision, please consult an independent qualified counsel like your accountant or lawyer. For information on how your gift can help MDMH, please call 406.375.4674.

Giving the gift of real estate

Giving property entitles you to a charitable tax deduction based on the property value and lets you bypass capital gains tax that could be due if the property is sold.
