Want to make a difference? Become a Hospice Volunteer.
Do you want to make a difference for people at the end of their life journey?
The desire to give time and talents freely to those on the end-of-life
journey emanates from a heart of compassion and a spirit of giving.
The spirit of hospice volunteering is born from a genuine desire to give
comfort, peace, and care to patients, caregivers, and families during
the end-of-life. Hospice volunteers have a tremendous impact on the lives
of the patients that they serve. Hospice volunteers are priceless. The
presence and service of hospice volunteers are targeted toward ultimately
providing patients, caregivers, and families with the most comfortable
and compassionate end-of-life experience possible.
At the end of the training program, volunteers will have the knowledge
and skill to offer invaluable end-of-life companionship and support.
The training dates are April 25th, 26th, and 27th in the Canyon conference
room. April 25th and April 26th trainings will be held from 6pm to 9pm,
and the April 27th session will be held from 9am to 4pm.
Anyone interested in attending, please contact Joni the Volunteer Coordinator,
at 363-6503. Feel free to stop by, we would like to me you and give you
a tour of our home like Marcus Daly Hospice Center. More information visit
