Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital offers a full American Safety and Health
Institute BLS course. BLS for Healthcare Providers Course covers core
material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios
and use of the bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated
external defibrillation. This course is offered to healthcare providers
such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses,
and respiratory therapists who must have a credential (card) documenting
successful completion of a CPR course. This course includes a written
exam and skills test. Price of class includes required book. Upon successful
completion participate will receive a
ASHI BLS for Healthcare Providers completion card, valid for two years. For
