Bio
Dr. Kellan Clark grew up in a small town in Virginia and was drawn to the
west. He received his under graduate degree in chemistry from Virginia
Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2010. He then achieved his
Doctor of Osteopathy from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in
2014. Going on to complete his internship in General Surgery and a five
year well-rounded residency in Urology at Charleston Area Medical Center.
On why he chose Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital, Dr. Clark had this to say:
“Practicing medicine in Ravalli County is the complete package. MDMH
provides me the opportunity to practice up-to-date, evidence-based urology,
by providing me the tools, environment and team. The Bitterroot Valley
offers me and my wife the recreational lifestyle we enjoy and the community
has a small town feel with the healthcare and amenities of a larger community.
This is the perfect location for us.”
“Over the past 10 years urology training has evolved. Technology
like robotics, digital cystoscopes and minimally invasive surgical endoscopic
procedures have enhanced patient outcomes, lowered risk of infection,
reduced pain and hospital stay and lessened scarring. My philosophy of
care involves the whole patient. To provide good urologic care knowing
the patient’s health history, lifestyle, and diet is important.
I work closely with the patient and their care providers, to help the
patient feel better quicker”
Dr. Clark joins the Bitterroot Surgical Associates team, bringing medical
experience and knowledge in General Urology, Urologic Oncology, Reconstructive
Urology, Minimally Invasive Robotic and Endourologic Surgery, Kidney Stone
Treatment, Urodynamics, Pediatric Urology, and more.
In his personal time Dr. Clark enjoys fly-fishing, hiking, hunting, carpentry,
masonry, and spending time with his wife and their German Wirehaired Pointer Rufus.
