Bio
Dr. Richard Day is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery,
and has been practicing adult and pediatric neurosurgery since 1996 when
he moved back to his home town of Missoula after completion of extensive
education and training required for his board certification. He attended
University of Michigan, Dartmouth Medical Center, and University of Utah
Medical Center, where he completed the Neurosurgery Residency program
as well as a multidisciplinary Fellowship in Intensive Care, Anesthesia,
ENT, and Emergency Medicine. He also received extensive training in pediatric
Neurosurgery at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City
and through his Fellowship training at Children's Hospital in St.
Louis, Missouri.
For the past twelve years, Dr. Richard Day has been treating patients in
Ravalli County at the Marcus Daly Specialty Clinic. Beginning February
18, 2013, Dr. Day will be consulting and treating patients in the Rocky
Mountain Neurosurgery Center, a new Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital Surgical
Specialty Clinic.

For the past sixteen years Dr. Day has had an extensive neurosurgery practice
with services offered at St. Patrick Hospital and Community Medical Center
in Missoula, with additional outreach clinics in Billings, Hamilton, Helena,
Ronan, and Superior. He has published multiple studies in several medical
journals, presented at medical conferences and participated in elective
clinical trainings around the world.
