What are your specialties and certifications?

American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology board certified.

Why did you go into medicine? Why did you choose your particular field?

I enjoyed building a lifelong rapport with my patients, celebrating the happy moments and helping guide them through the more challenging times.

What are some of your clinical interests?

High risk obstetrics, teen and adolescent care, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, infertility.

What do you love about practicing medicine?

My relationships with patients.

Have a regular check-up with a gynecologist, even after your childbearing is complete.

My family has always been my biggest supporters, even when it meant making sacrifices for themselves.

What brought you to the Bitterroot Valley?

The beauty and majesty of the Valley itself.

What do you enjoy about living and working in a small community like ours?

Getting to know my patients and their families.

Living in such a close-knit community, how do you create a successful work–life balance?

In a positive work environment, there are many colleagues and coworkers on whom I can rely to help support my patients and myself. In turn, I enjoy providing this support to others.

What are some of your non-professional interests and favorite hobbies?

Hiking, drawing, and spending time with family.

Is there anything about you that might surprise people?

I think people are surprised by my knack for doodling and art! It's a skill I wish I had developed more.

What would be your personal motto?

The difference between an adventure and an ordeal is attitude.

Do you have pets?

Yes - two dogs. A miniature dachshund and a German shorthaired pointer.
