Bio

Bristol R. Schmitz, MD is American Board of Emergency Medicine certified and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Oregon Health and Sciences University.

Dr. Schmitz shared, "I chose Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital (MDMH) to practice emergency medicine because I wanted to care for people in a small community where life and profession overlap. I also appreciate that MDMH has the specialty services an emergency medicine physician needs to treat a patient. The benefits are tremendous to the physician, the patient, and their family as well as the local economy. Also, it was important to me that the Emergency Department is staffed exclusively with board-certified physicians and that the hospital remains independent so it can focus on the needs of its community."

Our goal for every patient, every time, is to deliver to our mission of providing quality, accessible, personalized healthcare. Please provide us with your feedback. It matters to us.
