The Pediatric Rehabilitation Department at MDMH is committed to offering
the highest quality care to children and families in the community. Our
team includes occupational, physical and speech therapists that specialize
in the rehabilitation care of infants, children and adolescents. Our therapists
understand how cognitive, sensory and physical impairments affect growth
and development. They incorporate this knowledge to work with patients
and their families to develop and direct individualized treatment programs.
We provide evaluations and treatment designed to facilitate development
of, and/or restoration.
For children from birth to 21 years of age, our therapists specialize in
treating a wide range of neurodevelopmental and orthopedic needs, including:
- Fine & gross motor coordination disorders
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Sensory Processing Disorder
- Developmental delay
- ADD / ADHD
- Torticollis
- Gait disturbance
