Breast Health and Mammograms

3-D Mammography, also known as tomography, is a cutting-edge imaging test that has become increasingly popular in recent years. Like the name implies, a 3-D mammogram creates a 3-D image of the breast. These images give radiologists a much better look at the images produces—they can even enhance and rotate images to better differentiate between abnormalities and benign cysts. Since its introduction, the 3-D mammogram has significantly reduced the rate of false positives and unnecessary re-exams for women’s health.

In addition to 3-D mammography, we also offer Ultrasounds and Stereotactic Biopsies as breast exam options. Visit the diagnostic services page to learn more.
