Free Breast Health Program – Aid for Mammography Fund
Clinical Breast Exam, 3D Mammogram and more!
The Aid for Mammography Fund helps local residents in need obtain clinical
office visits, breast exams, screening mammograms and other necessary
related diagnostic procedures. It is available to qualifying low-income,
under-insured and uninsured valley residents. To qualify for Aid for Mammography
funds you must be a Ravalli County Resident and your gross family income
must be equal to or below
200% of the federal poverty level.
Accessing the Aid for Mammography fund:

Apply online now
Fill out the Aid for Mammography Fund application. Once approved, select a
medical provider of your choice and obtain a clinical breast exam. When scheduling your
appointment, confirm that the primary care provider participants in the
Aid for Mammography fund program. This initial primary care provider appointment
will be covered by the Aid for Mammography Fund and they will assist you
in scheduling the screening 3D mammogram appointment at
Marcus Daly Imaging Services.
2. Ask Your Primary Care Provider
During your annual exam ask your medical provider to submit a written authorization
request for Aid for Mammography benefits. Authorization is processed quickly
and on a case by case basis.
Qualified applicants will receive a breast screening services authorization
letter. Upon receipt, you or your medical provider can schedule your mammogram
screening appointment at
Marcus Daly Imaging Services by calling (406) 375-4426. Please inform them that you are approved for
services under the Aid for Mammography Fund. You must present your authorization
letter at each of your appointments.

PINK program, now known as COLORS of CANCER, which partially funds the
Aid for Mammography fund. All donations stay
LOCAL and help Ravalli County Residents catch Breast Cancer early! On average
150 Ravalli County residents are treated through the Aid for Mammography
fund. This means lives may have been SAVED that otherwise may have been lost!
