NBC Marcus Daly Hospital welcomes new CEO

John Bishop

Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital in Hamilton has welcomed its new chief executive officer to the community.

John Bishop took over the reins from long time CEO John Bartos, who retired this spring.

NBC Montana talked with Bishop Friday.

He said his inspiration working in health care stems from the birth of his son who was a 29-week premature baby.

"I got to see the wonderful miracle of health care," he said. "He's alive and well today thanks to the care provided by those caregivers in those hospitals he was in."
