HAMILTON - The long-time head of Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital is retiring,
stepping down after three decades of leading healthcare services in the
Bitterroot. And his replacement is a Montana native who's returning
to the state with several years of experience in rural healthcare systems.
It's been expected that Chief Executive Office John Bartos would be
stepping down this year, his 30th of leading Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital.
And Thursday afternoon, Hospital Board Chair Bill Bean made it official,
announcing Bartos' departure on June 30.
