Sprinkle Pink has exploded into the Colors of Cancer.
In the Bitterroot Valley, the annual October Breast Cancer awareness month
has been transformed to bring the battle against all cancers into community
conversation.
Since 2011, Sprinkle Pink has raised awareness of breast cancer, boosted
the Aid for Mammography fund to $350,000 and and provided services to
nearly 1,000 patients.
“The Sprinkle Pink program was greatly supported by the community
to make sure that the Aid for Mammography Fund has the finances so no
one in our community goes without mammograms,” said Amy James-Linton,
marketing director for MDMH. “Expanding the momentum, we are now
partnering with the Daly Hospital Foundation to expand the program to
Colors of Cancer.”
