People did not want to miss their one and only opportunity to cross the
“red line” for a close-up look at Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital’s
shiny-new surgery center Friday afternoon.
Before the doors opened, the line reached around the block.
The hospital chief operating officer Troy Hanson was there when the people
began the tour of the new $15 million surgery center that some said Friday
was the finest in the state.
“I just kept hearing the words ‘wow’ and ‘it’s
amazing,’” Hanson said. “It warms my heart to see the
community turn out like this and come in to check it out for themselves.
