Postponement of Elective Surgeries

Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital - Postpones Elective Surgeries

Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital has made the difficult decision to postpone all elective surgeries and procedures. This will take effect at the conclusion of all scheduled cases on 3/20/20. This suspension will aid in conservation of valuable health care resources, will conserve the blood supply, and protect patients and healthcare providers. This is in accordance with the recent guidelines set forth by the Center for Disease Control, American College of Surgeons, and the Red Cross. If there is a compelling case, in which the patient will be harmed if delayed, then exceptions will be made. All other cases will not be scheduled or performed at this time.
