Daly Hospital Foundation and Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital have received
donations from the Bitterroot Valley community and beyond to help during
this financially costly time of the
Daly Hospital Foundation Director of Philanthropy
Stacie Duce said recent donations from the community and beyond have made immediate impacts.
“What I’ve learned in the last two months is that donors can
gift in very specific way and see the impact in a short amount of time
if they choose to support a nonprofit hospital,” Duce said. “Going
into this time of crisis, it has touched my heart to see
so many people step up and selflessly answer the call to support our new healthcare needs.”
Duce said she is so impressed with sheer number of people and companies
who have made masks, donated lunches and provided funding for equipment
and to renovate a surgery suite in the hospital.
“Even in our hospice center, we've had so many grateful families
this spring who want others to have a positive experience during a very
tender time,” she said. “The donations to hospice have skyrocketed
in the last year. It’s a testament to our wonderful facility and
the generosity of others to memorialize those neighbors we love and admire.”
